Phoenix ABA Services was created by the clinical director and owner, Mariah Land MS, BCBA-S, LBA who wanted to be “home grown” again. The industry of ABA is changing and many companies lose intimacy with their families. This company, like a phoenix, is a “renewal” for families and staff who want to be in a learning environment that is safe, fun and rewarding.

We provide ethical based treatments with quality staff that include behavior technicians, registered behavior technicians and a board certified behavior analyst. The BCBA creates personalized treatment plans for individuals diagnosed with Autism and other related disorders or diagnoses. Your child will receive applied behavior analysis therapy from trained behavior technicians and registered behavior technicians underneath the supervision of the BCBA. The number of therapy hours your child receives is recommended by the BCBA to help improve the trajectory of your child’s learning.

Along with you, all of us together can generalize what your child learns in ABA therapy through family guidance in the home and community environments.
At the end of the day, we want to improve the quality of life for our families.
Currently, we are serving families in the home within a 10-15 mile radius of Keller, TX.

What do we teach?

Your child will learn communication, social, adaptive and behavioral skills that will help them build relationships with others and thrive. Our BCBA specializes in helping children and adults learn an alternative way of communicating. Some individuals may need to learn to use a communication device with voice output to let others know their wants and needs. This can be an intensive process and can help promote individuals to communicate vocally when shaped. Functional Communication Training is utilized for both verbal and non-verbal individuals to help them succeed in interacting with others. If people know what you want or don’t want, it can decrease frustration or helplessness.

Social skills typically start during play. We will shape the social skills of your child to help them interact with the people around them. As your child grows, we teach appropriate social communication and group skills.
Adaptive skills such as selfcare, daily living, toilet training and behavioral feeding therapy are worked on in conjunction with the parent to generalize in the home environment.
Learning Readiness is an essential skill to teaching your child how to learn. This can include them learning on how to attend at the table, attending to an instructor, and learning to communicate appropriately when they need to. These skills are building blocks to your child learning in the school environment.
Family Guidance or Parent Training- This is essential to ABA therapy. Every parent is dedicated to wanting the best for their child and ABA therapy can be overwhelming when first getting started. We will be with your every step of the way and will give you the tools to be successful in helping your child learn.
