What are the signs of Autism?

The signs listed below are not all inclusive. Each child is unique.

Communication

Regression in speech, delayed speech, no speech, immediate or delayed echolalia- repetition of words or phrases.

Social

Not responding to their name, avoiding eye contact, limited interest in others, limited functional play, delayed motor skills.

Sensory

Hyper or hypo sensitive to the environment, repetitive motor movements (hand flapping, rocking, spinning, etc), sensitive to certain textures/sights/sounds/tastes

Behaviors

Challenging behaviors that interfere in communication and/or relationships with others, restrictive or repetitive behavior that interferes in the individuals independence, difficulty transitioning, extremely picky eating

Where to Start?

Step 1

Set up an initial free consultation with our Director of Client Engagement- she will answer your questions about the ABA services we provide, get you in contact with the Clinical Director if needed for a more in depth consultation, go over PAS treatment model, and discuss the information you gave us about your child to make sure we are the right fit for your family

Step 2

Insurance or Private Pay?- We are currently in network with BCBS and Cigna. We are in the process of getting credentialed with United. If you do not have commercial insurance, private pay is available.

Step 3

Clinical Evaluation- A parent interview and direct assessment with your child will be conducted.

Step 4

Starting Therapy- Once you approve the treatment plan and insurance or private pay has been approved, we will work with you on creating your child’s schedule to start therapy.
