Functional Behavior Assessment
The BCBA will conduct a comprehensive evaluation that consists of a parent/caregiver interview, direct observations, and utilizing evidence-based assessments such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or AFLS. Other evidenced-based assessments will be utilized when applicable.
The BCBA will create an individualized treatment plan to strengthen your child’s deficits and skills. Once the plan has been approved by you, insurance will be authorized or private pay utilized.
Direct ABA Therapy
Direct ABA therapy is conducted by behavior technicians, registered behavior technicians, and the BCBA (when applicable). These direct therapy sessions follow the treatment plan created by the BCBA. The goals will change as your child masters them and new goals will be created. When teaching your child, we determine what is fun to them! We want them to learn through play while slowly getting used to being in a more structured setting. We go at their pace while challenging them. At this time we are providing direct ABA therapy within 10 miles of Keller, TX. Transition to a clinic setting is in the works for the future. However, a hybrid model may be what is best for your child and will be discussed with the BCBA at that time of transition into another environment.
Parent/Caregiver Training
Parent/Caregiver training is essential to making sure that your child receives a well-rounded approach to ABA therapy. Without the parents/caregivers, we wouldn’t be able to do our jobs. We want the best for the family. Upon assessing your child, goals will be created with your input on what you want to work on with your child and family as a whole. This is based upon the BCBA determining why your child may be engaging in a behavior.
Supervision for BCBA/BCaBA Experience Hours
We provide in-person and remote supervision for BCBA/BCaBA candidates who are looking to accrue experience hours according to BACB standards. You will learn the essentials to becoming a professional BCBA or BCaBA. This is intensive but is very rewarding to prepare you to have your own clients or assist a BCBA.
An initial 30 minute free consultation will be conducted to determine if PAS is the right fit for you and if you meet the following requirements:
Remote Supervision
– Eligible for supervision per the BACB Experience Standards
– Access to at least 1 client who would benefit from ABA services
– Ability and permission to record at least 15 minutes of your therapy session if the BCBA is not able to remotely supervise. Permission forms will be provided to give to parent/caregiver and/or employer or on-site supervisor.
– Enrollment in an ABA-approved master’s program or certification program by the BACB
– Responsibility for ensuring you follow state licensure and regulatory requirements
– Reliable laptop, internet connection, camera, and microphone
– Gmail account for chat availability and HIPAA compliance

If you do meet the requirements then a contract will be created between the supervisor and supervisee.

Review video samples of work implementation will be reviewed at least 2 times per month to stay within compliance with BACB standards.
